Librios

The generative business intelligence platform

We are a UK based team of software developers and consultants who have worked over twenty years across information and database management.
Librios is a secure generative business intelligence platform that turns complex data into actionable insights. The software has sophisticated tools to interconnect documents, data and content to generate new products and services. With AI at its core, non-technical users can identify, refine, and control outputs, ensuring these insights are applicable across various business contexts for operational improvement and reporting.
As a technology focused software company, we use Artificial Intelligence to create cutting-edge insight solutions for businesses handling structured and unstructured data. For example, the platform can combine the unstructured intelligence within technical reports and standards, with structured data such as deviations, non-conformances or corrective actions. Our innovative approach enhances data security, drives actionable insights, and fosters strategic decision-making, positioning us at the forefront of technological advancement in the industry.
Our strategic blending of AI has revolutionized the way information rich businesses can handle and utilize confidential technical content. By enhancing data analysis, personalizing customer interactions, and driving innovation in product development, we have built a comprehensive intelligence solution. This integration empowers businesses to achieve their strategic objectives with greater efficiency and confidence.

What is Librios?

Librios is an AI powered platform that turns complex technical data and documents into clear actionable insights for your business. Or simply, taking your data and turning it into new intellectual property.

When to use it

If you are working in a team that manages disparate data and documents to create weekly, monthly or quarterly reports, or need to research data for compliance and supply chain management purposes, you need a safe and secure platform to augment intelligence into a repeatable, fast operational output.

When not to use it

It is not a general mass market AI tool. It is best implemented on very targeted and focused specific business content and data that you need trusted repeatable results from.

What does it create?

Librios uses generative AI and our own autonomous processes to create trusted research, reports, presentations, training materials, charts and graphs from your specific data saving you hours and sometimes days compiling information.

Are there humans in the loop when creating new content?

Librios allows full human editorial control and review workflow on generated outputs before they are circulated or exported to other systems. Other AI guardrails can be applied to the service such as checking data quality and lineage, regulatory and compliance, security, plus ethical and safety controls.

What makes us different?

Librios is data and content agnostic. The technology is the same underlying core software code suitable, and configured for, multiple business cases across many sectors. For example, we work with knowledge creators in publishing, compliance teams in risk management, finance teams in investment management and institutions such as Universities, Charities and Government bodies.

What does it store?

The foundations of Librios are a database. Information within documents and databases are atomised and stored by our ingestion tools, surfaced through powerful search within the original context (such as a PDF/MS Word doc), analysed through layers of AI prompts and outputted as multi-format files. The service can also manage images, video and audio files.

Can it connect to external sources?

Librios has several features that allows it to receive and send information. Users can email in resources, manually upload files or we can connect to third party sources via an API. This allows for integration with other business systems such as Salesforce, PayPal, D&B. There are also features that allow you to analyse information on trusted sites (such as Government services) or just search the broader web.

Can it be used on mobile devices?

Librios is a secure MFA service built to render to mobile devices. Users and access are controlled by roles, rules and permissions.

What is Librios built on?

Librios is a Microsoft technology stack and usually deployed on MS Azure resources. The platform can be installed inside your own MS Azure subscription or we offer a range of managed hosting services via our partner CSP.

How is Librios DaaS?

Data as a Service is at the heart of Librios. We take disparate sources of information, usually in multiple formats, and atomise it. Atomisation of documents is the process of breaking down long-form, unstructured, or bulk documents (such as reports, research papers, or articles) into smaller, self-contained, and manageable units or "atoms" of information. Once organised the data can be analysed with AI and the outputs sent from Librios via a JSON feed into other services. These can be commercial services, supply chain services, partners or regulators.

Can Librios anonymise data?

Librios runs a ‘process twice’ concept to anonymise confidential data such as business critical information, personal or company details. This allows for permitted internal users to see the source and original context but receiving third parties only get the relevant context with all specific sensitive data removed.

How do customers commercialise their IP?

Librios has the concept of ‘Micro-sites’. These are self-service customer specific sites, driven from the core service, with additional permissions to use your content and data alongside their own information. Access can be via subscription, with AI token use limits and restricted to IP and email addresses for additional security.

What LLM does Librios use?

Librios currently uses OpenAI within our Microsoft environment. Microsoft both uses OpenAI technology and holds an equity stake in OpenAI. This means the underlying technology is OpenAI’s, but it is delivered within Microsoft’s secure environment. As a result, it is not the same as using OpenAI directly, even though it relies on the same core models.
Microsoft states that any data submitted is not stored, shared with third parties, or used to train models. This differs from consumer offerings such as a free OpenAI account. See Microsoft's official statement
Note in particular the following from the article:
Your prompts (inputs) and completions (outputs), your embeddings, and your training data:
are NOT available to other customers
are NOT available to OpenAI
are NOT used to improve OpenAI models
are NOT used to improve any Microsoft or 3rd party products or services
are NOT used for automatically improving Azure OpenAI models for your use in your resource (The models are stateless, unless you explicitly fine-tune models with your training data). Your fine-tuned Azure OpenAI models are available exclusively for your use. The Azure OpenAI Service is fully controlled by Microsoft; Microsoft hosts the OpenAI models in Microsoft’s Azure environment and the Service does NOT interact with any services operated by OpenAI (e.g. ChatGPT, or the OpenAI API).
