Understanding Librios

What is Librios?

Librios is a trusted knowledge platform that acts as a corporate ‘second brain’ between enterprise data and AI Agents. It transforms complex documents, technical content, policies, regulations, databases and business information into governed, verified, pre-calculated knowledge outputs that are ready for agent consumption.

Is it right for you?

AI Agents are rapidly becoming part of enterprise workflows — but many organisations face a critical challenge: agents often operate on fragmented, unverified, or inaccessible information. That creates risk around accuracy, compliance gaps, weak provenance, and low trust.

When to use Librios

When your team manages disparate data and documents to produce weekly, monthly or quarterly reports — or needs to research data for compliance and supply-chain management — and you need a safe, secure platform that turns intelligence into repeatable, fast operational outputs for external use.

When not to use Librios

It is not a general mass-market AI tool or chatbot. Librios is best applied to very targeted, focused business content and data where you need trusted, repeatable results.

Why now?

Agents are becoming costly. Because knowledge in Librios is pre-calculated, agents spend less time repeatedly searching, interpreting and recomputing — reducing latency, token usage, infrastructure load, and overall cost.

What does it create?

Librios uses generative AI and our own autonomous processes to create trusted research, reports, presentations, training materials, charts and graphs from your specific data - saving you the hours, sometimes days, normally spent compiling information.

Humans stay in the loop

Librios provides full human editorial control and a review workflow on generated outputs before they are circulated or exported. Additional AI guardrails can be applied to the service - data quality and lineage, regulatory and compliance, security, plus ethical and safety controls.

What makes Librios different?

Librios is data and content agnostic. The same underlying core software powers every deployment - configured for multiple business cases across many sectors.

Under the hood of the knowledge layer

The technical questions teams ask most when evaluating Librios - answered.

What does it store?

The foundation of Librios is a database. Information inside documents and databases is atomised and stored by our ingestion tools, surfaced through powerful search within its original context (such as a PDF or Word doc), analysed through layers of AI prompts, and output as multi-format files. The service can also store images, video and audio.

Can it connect to external sources?

Yes. Users can email in resources, manually upload files, or connect to third-party sources via an API - integrating with business systems such as Salesforce, PayPal and D&B. Features also let you analyse information on trusted sites (such as government services) or search the broader web.

Can it be used on mobile devices?

Librios is a secure MFA service built to render to mobile devices. Users and access are controlled by roles, rules and permissions.

What is Librios built on?

Librios is a Microsoft technology stack, usually deployed on MS Azure resources. The platform can be installed inside your own Azure subscription, or we offer a range of managed hosting services via our partner CSP.

How is Librios ‘Data as a Service’?

DaaS is at the heart of Librios. We take disparate sources of information — usually in multiple formats — and atomise them: breaking long-form, unstructured or bulk documents into smaller, self-contained ‘atoms’ of information. Once organised, the data is analysed with AI and exported via a JSON feed into commercial services, supply-chain services, partners or regulators.

Can Librios anonymise data?

Librios runs a ‘process twice’ concept to anonymise confidential data such as business-critical information, or personal and company details. Permitted internal users see the source and original context, while receiving third parties only get the relevant context — with all sensitive data removed.

How do customers commercialise their IP?

Through microsites: self-service, customer-specific sites driven from the core service, with permissions to use your content and data alongside their own. Access can be by subscription, with AI token-use limits and restriction to specific IP and email addresses for additional security.

What LLM does Librios use?

Librios currently uses OpenAI within our Microsoft environment. Microsoft both uses OpenAI technology and holds an equity stake in OpenAI. This means the underlying technology is OpenAI’s, but it is delivered within Microsoft’s secure environment. As a result, it is not the same as using OpenAI directly, even though it relies on the same core models. See more.

Has Librios been recognised by peers?

In 2025 and again in 2026 - one of our customers won the IPG PLS AI Award for their service powered by Librios. agnet-zero.com

What is on the Librios technology roadmap?

Librios is building a self-maintaining assurance system that continuously harvests and validates evidence, monitors controls in real time, detects issues, and delivers prescriptive remediation recommendations - reducing manual effort while continuously improving compliance and control performance.

The model & your data

Microsoft states that whilst using OpenAI within their Microsoft environment: any data submitted is not stored, shared with third parties, or used to train models - differing from consumer offerings such as a free OpenAI account.

Your prompts (inputs) and completions (outputs), your embeddings, and your training data are NOT:

  • Available to other customers
  • Available to OpenAI
  • Used to improve OpenAI models
  • Used to improve any Microsoft or 3rd-party products or services
  • Used to automatically improve Azure OpenAI models
